Left Hand Haystack Wheat

Drank thanks ilovedarkbeer. Not a hefe to my taste. Pours with a quickly going white head covering a slightly hazy golden body. Aroma is vegitale and a bit of clove. Taste is clove and not much else. Really fizzy and watery.

On-tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. Hazy golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma and flavor: spices, wheat, banana, citrus, a bit of tartness and sourishness. Light bodied and the carbonation is a bit fizzy.

Shady golden color, smallish whit ehead. Spicy, phenolic, estery banana and a bit acidic scent. Sweet, malty, estery banana taste. Semi-moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Pour was slightly hazy golden with a whit head. Aroma was slightly malty with some light citrus. I got a little more malt out of this brew than wheat. I did get a little dry finish from the wheat however. Decent brew.

On tap at Jax Fifth Avenue (Orlando, FL). Pours a hazy golden color with one finger white head. Good head retention. Aroma is citrus, bread, grain, some yeast and fruit. Flavor is wet hay, citrus, banana, slightly sour. Light body with a tinge of bitterness on finish.

Draft pint from Jax Fifth Avenue. Poured a golden color with a slight haze. The aroma was very citrusy with some bread and hay. The flavor has citrus and banana and some sweetness to the finish (strawberry? bubble gum?). Decent lace on the glass as the pint is drained. Very good wheat beer from the tap.

(12 oz bottle) hazy medium gold with smallish white head. Aroma of wet hay, cloves. Flavor is cloves, yeast, grain, maybe some citrus, some hay/grassy hops. Unlike others I’m not getting the banana. Decent body.

Light, cloudy gold pour with a medium sized foamy head. Light aroma of grain, yeast and banana. Grain and citrus flavor, with a slightly bitter finish. Highly drinkable and refreshing, though not the best example of the style.
