Smells of banana, tastes like a hefe, but like Left Hand was trying to do something different, didn’t quite make it. Tingly on the tongue. Not bad, but I’ve had better. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 14, 2008 Cloudy yellow with quick dissipating white head. Aroma of banana, clove, spice and something mildly medicinal. Taste of overpowering spice, clove, lemon, banana. A touch sour and dry, buy a different hefeweizen. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 13, 2008 Pours a lemon yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is if mostly floral with hints of lemon. Flavor is not impressive. It is so much floral it seems like I am drinking carbonated potpourri. Hints of clove are there but the floral masks many of the other flavors. Just not happy with this beer. nick76 (2676), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2008 The aroma is defiantly a Hefe. The aroma has cloves, banana, incense, wheat, yeast, and bubble gum. The appearance is hazy gold with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma but weak. The palate is smooth but somewhat watery. Overall a nice summer/spring beer. ChrisJ (100), Warrenton, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 10, 2008 Draft @ brewery. Pours in hazy golden and slightly opaque. The aroma is spicy, with notes of citrus. The flavor is citrusy (lemon and orange), corriander, nutmeg, some yeast. Medium body with noticeable carbonation. mild slightly sweet finish. Good not great wheat. sayravai (3757), Helsinki, Finland

Very yeasty aroma with berries, ginger, and wheat. Fruity, witbier-spicy flavor with lots of orange-peel and coriander, plus some lime. Almost medium-bodied, refreshing palate despite the yeast. A hybrid wheat beer, somewhere between Hefeweizen and Witbier. Not bad, even when sampled over a year old. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Nice orange golden pour with a fantastic lasting whipped cream like head. Super head, in fact! Sweet wheat hefeweizen funk lemon smell (bold, but I am just not a fan). Flavor is very lemony - refreshing almost and lemony tart. High carbonation but yet doesnt feel out of place. Just too lemony and hefeweizen-like for me. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA
