| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Murky soft yellow. Swirling the yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle and pouring it made the murky swirls drop down into the glass, eventually dispersing and transforming this beer from a transparent yellow runofthemill beer beer into a cloudy, almost perfect looking hefeweizen. The smell was quite sweet, citrus everywhere, big lemons and grapefruits, punkcy. Taste is a little less exciting. A bit bland, smooth oranges and lemons, not as acidic as the aroma hinted. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Cloudy yellow-amberish color, almost like dirty bathwater with big white head lacing its way down. Smells like banana laffy taffy, sweet, with a bit of allspice and ’wheatiness’. Tastes like artificial banana flavoring and some double bubble bubblegum with a crisp all-malt BMC underneath (ala Michelob). Sweet up-front but drying finish. A bit too much carbonation, seems a little thin and watery to be a true Hefe. gsmitty80 (653), Washington DC, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a good sized creamy whitish head. The aroma has quite a bit of yeast, as well as some banana and clove. The flavor does not match the nose in intensity. I get weak bready malt, banana, clove, light citrus. Light/medium bodied. Probably won’t revisit this one. gabbama (116), Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Sweet aroma of bananas and spices with notes of wheat and yeast. Flavor is nothing special. Banana dominates with wheat, spices, and lots of yeast. Not a bad beer, but there are definately better German style Hefes. Ughsmash (4079), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Bottled. Poured slightly hazy paler golden with a short, fizzy cap of white head. The aroma was sweet and soft with bananas accented by light spices and plenty of wheaty notes.. well-balanced. The flavor was not as well put together as the nose.. grainy banana and wheat at the core with a touch of peppery spicage and a sweet, tacky finish.. seemed like it only partially developed. Lighter-bodied with moderate and complimentary carbonation.. dry, lightly sour, and spicy finish. Decent brew. joeyv120 (16), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Cloudy golden straw color with a fruity aroma. The flavor has a lot of character including a distinct banana taste that is subtle enough yet to not be distracting.
