355 ml, bottled 07-11-07. Medium sized head that lasts well on this cloudy golden beer. Nose is bubblegum, slight banana and clove. Flavor is a mix of citrus bubblegum, clove, bread with peppery yeast, and an aftertaste of spicy banana bubblegum. Slightly more citrus than I normally like in a hefe, but it somehow works in this one. Palate is light-medium and quite acidic and carbonation-tingly. Pretty good hefe.

Pours a cloudy light amber with a dense, pitted, white head that diminishes. This is aggressively carbonated with tons of rising bubble after the pour, sounding like 7-Up. The aroma is truer to a German hefe than most American-made wheats that I’ve sampled. Notes of bubble gum, faint banana and cloves and a pretty solid citrus backing comes out at the end. I guess the last note is our American contribution to the mix. Light and thin with lively carbonation and a crisp, clean and just mildly dry finish. The flavor is bubble gum, sweet wheat, cloves, faint banana and a lightly citric finish. Just enough hops in this one to cut things off succinctly. I think it’s rather good. It’s not quite as refined as it’s competition, from Germany, but it’s a very drinkable rendition of the style.

Very Cloudy, Smell reminded me of oranges. Taste was OK. For me seems best to drink this one nice and cold. Not my favorite from Left Hand Brewing but to me better then the Juju Ginger.

Bottle born in May, 2007 split with Tronraner in a blind hefeweizen tasting. This was the darkest of the four with a near light bronze hue and a decent whitish head. The aroma was pretty decent with figs, cinnamon, banana, and the most noticed hop presence thus far (which was overshadowed by Victory Sunrise later), but I definitely wouldn’t describe it as being "hoppy". A fair amount of papery hops are in there. The flavor was a notch down with very light spices and a non-descript flavor. I get a few token hefe notes, but not anything real deep is going on here. It’s a serviceable beer, but it did not live up to the other 3 brews in this tasting.

Pours a light clouded yellow with a white head. Has great hints of wheat, sweet citrus fruits, some hops detected, floral hints. Finishes with a nice body, and carbonation is balanced well.

pours swamp colored like fresh homemade apple juice. aroma is wheat, honey, citrus and copper. flavor is mostly wheat and yeast with apricots, lemon and some hop bitterness( or hefe spiciness). also, soapy flavor of cilantro without the green...

(Bottle) Pours hazy golden. Typical German wheat aroma with tones of incense, banana and clove. Quite spicy with hints of white pepper and nutmeg. Some sweet oranges are also present. Wheat and banana in flavour with spicy undertones of clove and nutmeg. Sweet with honey like tones. Light sour and salty. Light to medium body.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a longlasting off-white head. Malty wheat aroma with lots of bananas and cloves and some spicy hints. Sweet malty spicy banana and clove flavor. Wheaty malty finish with bananas in the aftertaste.
