| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 6, 2009 Bottle. It pours a slightly hazy, cloudy orange-golden body under a half finger thick off-white head. Citrus, some banana and peach, and a faint note of spices and yeast in the aroma. Effervescent, medium body with a little citrusy sourness, sort of watery. Quite dry, with banana, wheat, citrus, peach and some bitterness. All quite weak. Banana and bitterness in the finish. A rather uninteresting interpretation of a german hefeweizen, but with good refreshing qualities. 090906 Finn (1510), Tromsø, Norway

OK skumdannelse - men skummet forsvant ganske fort. Uklart. Aroma av sitrusfrukter. Typisk hveteøl med smak av sitrus og banan. Svakt syrlig hveteøl som ikke blir fir søtt. Taste is highly Belgian in quality. Fruity but dry. Finish is a little spicy. Very interesting, but I’m not convinced. plovmand (1737), Helsinge, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Lots of banana and clove in aroma but also a pinch of hops. Flavour is quite citric for a weissbier but leaves the regular banana and clove in front. Pretty average. jbye4334 (719), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Cloudy golden colour, big white head. Strong and very yeasty aroma, notes of baking yeast and bread dough. Also notes of over-ripe bananas, rotting fruits and cloves. Fresh mouthfeel, refreshing flavour with moderately fruity and spicy notes, but the finish is rather dull and bland. williamherbert (475), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Seriously cloudy look, banana yellow. Thick finger of head, pure white. Lots of carbonation. Bright and inviting. A swath of lace.
A spicy Belgian ale aroma. Pungent coriander and orange peel. Really spicy, fruity and heavy. Some sweet lemon. Both sweet & spicy in one.
The taste is a nice spicy Belgian ale flavor, with notes of orange, lemon and banana. A little fruity, a little pungent. Spicy and a tad lemony sour.
It’s fizzy like uncorked champagne. Overall, it’s quite fizzy and bursting with flavor. Too intense for repeats.
