Big soapy head quickly retreats. Clouudy orange -- looks like a whiskey sour in the glass. Aromas of banana, wheat grains, flavors that add the full spicing of a traditional hefe. Not too creamy, kind of an of-the-earth brew. Drinkable and quenching.

This beer pours a cloudy golden color with a medium head that fades quickly. There is a nice aroma of weat and fruits and mild hops. It has a tart orange flavor to it. there is also some mild hints of hops foran after taste.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy dark yellow color with a nice looking head and a good amount of lacing. Aroma of dough, yeast and a touch of clove. Flavor had more of an earthy character, with mild banana notes and some citrus. These flavors are more subtle compared to the authentic German counterparts... which is OK, but prevented a higher rating. Still a nice and refreshing beer.

12 oz bottle. Bottled on 2/21/07. I drank this one after a 19 mile bike ride, half of which was into a head wind. Poured a lovely cloudy yellow color. Head was thick and white with good retention and lacing. Nice hefe aroma of yeasty bread dough, clove, and banana. Flavors were similar with an added dash of lemon zest. Delicious beer.

Bottle: Hazy straw, orange tint, moderate white foamy head, decent lacing, lively carbonation.   Wheaty nose, slight straw, a little musty oats.   Dull bready start, wheaty, somewhat heavy and filling.   Somewhat boring, but fairly clean.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Rich musty wheatlike finish.   Add in some Banana and Clove and you have a winner.   Otherwise clean, rich, but dull and boring.   Needs something...

Bottle. Plenty of in bubblegum and banana in with the yeast and malt, potent aroma is def authentic.. Little head on a banana-yellow body. Tastes of sweet bananaed yeast with a healthy dose of pretzel malt. Lemon and wheat abound. Refreshing! Smooth with a wheaten aftertaste, moderate carbonation, and a touch of apple in the medium body. Some nice chalky/muddy muddling. I suppose this should be evaluated on its own merits, but major style points are due - nothing American about this.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color. Aroma of wheat and malt. Taste is like an uncooked roll.

Capped this beer and caught a very strong whiff of banana and wheat. Took a swig and tasted cloves, wheat and spice. Dry brisk finish. Not the best hefe I’ve ever had but Ok.
