Sweet aroma with lots of wheat, and perhaps a bit too much banana. Taste is light, pleasant, and very drinkable - but again too much banana. Not bad for a Hefe, but there are certainly better ones out there. GriffinAvenue (396), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 25, 2006 Bottle. Grapefruit / yellow color with thin head and consistent carbonation bubbling to the surface. Grassy, wheaty to the nose and tongue with hint of lemon. Very straight-forward what you see is what you get beer. You need to really enjoy wheat beers to enjoy this. Special note: don’t over-chill. Firemoose15 (542), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2006 bottle. Aroma of wheat and banana. Poured a hazy orange with white head. Flavor was more of what the nose offered, a lot of banana a touch of wheat. Palate was good nice medium body with a relative clean finish. Overall this was good’n. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 14, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a hazy golden orange colored beverage with a modest sized white fizzy head that did not last very long and left almost no lacing on the glass. The aroma was true to the style. There was the distinct presence of banana with undertones of clove. There were also notes of bubble gum. The body was medium-light with medium carbonation and a bit of a dry texture. The flavor started off tart with sweet undertones. The finish was medium-long and the tartness lasted throughout with a rather dry finish. fbennett (293), Lowell, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Pours a cloudy dark lemon/orange with a thick white head that stays a bit with this brew. The aroma is ripe bananas, cloves, honey, herbal sweetness, similar to a tropical drink. The taste is candied citrus lemon upfront followed by a fruity, honey spiced syrupy finish complemented with a wheat, bready, mouthfeel, and a hoppy bitterness. This imo is more like a traditonal hefeweizen than an American Wheat. GreatLibations (1454), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Pours slightly hazed pale golden w/ medium sized, semi creamy froth. Aromas of slightly sour, spiced banana. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are spiced w/ a nice malty backbone. Finish is finely bittered. Crisp and thirst quenching. Only dawback is a slight souring on the finish. Overall: a wheat w/ above average spice and a slightly offensive souring. iskirwan1 (66), monument, Colorado, USA
