Slightly tart aroma and not with a heavy yeast that some hefe’s feature. Slight citrus taste. Very smooth and drinkable. Not a classic hefe. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Banna clover esters in the aroma, along with a hint of sweat. A little bit of a watery texture. Lots of banana clove and phenols, but not a lot of wheaty malt backbone. The finish is too heavy on the clove notes for me. nimbleprop (924), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Oct 11, 2006 This beer is one to skip. Aroma and appearance are fine, but the flavor is not palatable. Overly bitter with an odd cold smoked flavor. Yuck. ph0tik (71), Denver, Colorado, USA

I have to be honest though, I really dislike this beer. It comes on too strong for my tastes... the cloves I guess. I took a sip, handed it to a friend and he spit it out. 5 of us passed so we poured it out. jgd0608 (187), Zeeland, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2006 Bottle. Murky Orange, with a thick head. Smells citrusy, and sour. Tastes like a banana. Very crisp and easy to drink. Definetly not my favorite style, but this one is good. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Bottle. Pours a orangey golden color with a thin head. Looked more carbonated than it actually was. Nose is banana and fruit. Flavor is a combination of sweet and citrus on a slice of dense, soft white bread. Lacks the creamy mouthfeel of a really good hefeweizen. Somewhat thin. This beer needs a little more of a workout on its wheat muscles, but their is potential. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2006 Pours hazy yellow with a generous white head. Light fruity sweetness in the aroma with some peach and apricot - creamy and smooth. Medium body with a little sharp carbonation that is only on the finish. Sharp citrus with a wheat smoothness compliement each other. There is some nectar fruits as well as some pineapple. Finish has sharpness from carbonation and some spiciness. The fruit tends to have some fakenss to it. An okay beer - nothing great.
