Dark goldern foggy yellow body with a big froathy head. Very pretty. The aroma is week, you can smell some hops, but there is something else there.... The beer it self is pretty highly carbonated, and I’m not a fan of carbonation. However, the falvor is a smooth full bodied crispy wheat. There is a banana presence in the finish. Pretty tasty.

12oz pour a golden color. There is nice soapy head and massive amounts of carbonation in this beer. The flavor is clean great to pound on a hot day. Tastes almost like they used seltzer water to brew this one. Nice and refreshing.

Thanks to TomDecapolis for this... Appears a hazy, light gold with a small fizzy white head that fades out quickly. Smell is of lemon, orange, mild banana esters with a nice punch of yeast & wheat. Taste is mildly tart of citrus with a yeasty wheat combo. Mouthfeel is slightly thin but ok in the grand scheme of things. A drinkable American Hefe.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium and hazy yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, and bananas. Tastes of wheat, lemons, and all around citrusy. Thinner body.

Shared bottle @ hopdog’s. Hazy, golden/honey color. Aroma of wheat w/ a touch of banana and a hint of citrus. Decent wheat flavor. An average wheat beer overall.

This is a decent hefe. Not much in the aroma period. Kind of soapy. Flavors of cloves, banana, and lots of gumball. Very decent flavors, but not meaty enough to be as big as the flavors want it to be. Thin and watery but very good with flavorful-ness.

The Haystack pours a dark yellow color with a fizzy, white head. Virtually no lacing, and a fully diminishing head, make this only an average presentation. However, the hazy body is redeeming in its coloring. Huge kick of citrus hops with a ton of lemon aroma. Lightly sweet at first, turning lightly acidic at the finish line. Very smooth taste, very lemony. Light on the mouth with a watery and oily feel, soft carbonation. Could use a slice of lemon for an extra burst. Bottled on 11/9/05.
