The nose is sulfuric and dirty but the flavor is chewy with some honey and chalk note, a bit of apple and close notes. The finish is creamy. Decent. mddawso (89), Normal, Illinois, USA

Much smoother than other wheats. The pour suprised me with an outrageously fast forming head. The aroma was strong wheat, nothing unique. The taste was strong of wheat, with full smoothness. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2006 This beer pours with a huge foamy head that makes a lot of noise while it subsides. It has staying power, too. The beer itself is a nice looking light honey color. First taste is has clove as dominant. It has a rich and creamy feel to it and the carbonation adds some life. There doesn’t seem to be much banana flavor but some fruit such as orange is evident. Perhaps a bit of lemon, too. I love the way the lacing clings to the side of the glass and it is a unique trait. The finish was pretty much the traditional wheat flavors. Nice beer. Bockyhorsey (2546), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2006 Bottle. Box where bottled on date is blank so this one was missed by AQ at the brewery. Aroma had a sour fruit and spiceyness to it. Hazy yellow with white disipating head. Flavor was dominated by spices and some light to medium sour lemon. Sourness on palate but a drinkable brew. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2006 From a 12oz. long neck brown with a "Bottled On" date, 02/23/05, and pouring instructions on the front label. Made a good appearance, poured a cloudy straw golden with a creamy white head, good carbonation. Had a nice clove spice and banana aroma, with some wheat graininess in the background. A creamy medium bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. At first, a crisp, lemon zinging taste in the palate, then clove and spices, a soft banana and a dry yeasty and grainy finish.
