Pours a little hazy with a few "floaties" that quickly settle and stick to the bottom. Just a tiny bit of lacing. Smell has hints of caramel. A little bit thin/empty tasting. lassem (309), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2009 The many swedish ratings on this one shows that this one is imported to Systembolaget - that could indicate that the beer is pretty anonymous... cause Systembolaget rarely dare to challange our taste buds. ... prove me wrong and lets uncap this thing...with the left hand of cause. The pour is claudy pale yellow with a fine white head that sticks around. The nose is clearly with weats, but also mashed apples (babyfood), kiwi and othe tropical citrusnotes and some caramel. Not bad at all for a "weizen". The taste is pretty pale - with a mouthfeel that are sparkling at first but ends up as a watery nothing. There are no really finish. There are some metalnotes, some yeasty and fruit notes to..but this only in the very beginning. Disappoing GJF (509), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2009 I’m generally not that much of a wheat drinker, but I must say this is pretty nice--especially for an American wheat which generally don’t have any character. There is lots of fruit to this, fairly sweet with a lot of yeast body. Nice. foreigngirl (3), Sweden does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2009 I found this one att Systembolaget. It doesent taste like the other wheats on the shelves. I liked the burnt taste and it made me feel sumry. screwball (802), Motala, Sweden

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2009 355 ml bottle, 5,0% ABV. Pours a hazy orange golden color with a white head. Almost no lacing. Aroma of green bananas, spices, citrus and tropical fruits (like pineapple). Flavour is lightly acidic with notes of spices, yeast, green bananas, citrus and tropical fruits. Light to mediumbodied, medium to high carbonation - lots of small bubbles which makes it refreshing and very drinkable. A nice surprise. My expectations weren’t to high on this one, but this is a good interpretation of the style and definitely worthy compared to the German ones. dkachur (2409), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2009 This is a very enjoyable wheat beer, but falls a little short compared to some others I’ve sampled in the past (most notable Sly Fox’s Royal Weisse). The beer pours a hazy and cloudy dark golden color with a big, thick white head. The head leaves a huge amount of lacing around the glass. The nose is full of banana and spices, and the body is very smooth, enjoyable and refreshing. The flavors consist of more banana and spices, along with some citrus and dough notes. The beer finishes on a little bit of a sour note, but it’s still a decent wheat beer that refreshes this time of year.
