A magas alkohol tartalmat végig érezni benne, olajos,elég testes.Utóíze tejeskávés amibe egy darabka étcsokoládé is került,kiszárítja a szájat.Egy szelet Sacher torta vagy egy belga trüffel mellé kitűnő kísérő lehet. BrianDorry55 (117), Spring Hill, Florida, USA Nov 4, 2009 12oz bottle from Woodys in Franklin, TN. Pours almost black with a thin tan head...alot of floating matter. Aroma is tons of mollasses and licorice (i dont like mollasses). Mollasses and alcohol up front but fades to a very nice burnt coffee. Mouthfeel is thick and warms the palate...Overall, I liked it...but as you can see by my past ratings...not as much as I like most imperial stouts. jonno (542), Brisbane, Australia Nov 3, 2009 Black as night with a fair head. Nose was strong chocloate and vine. Mouthful was quite alcholic with cholcolate. wood and again vinious qualities. Medium bodied. More british than american IRS, without the hoppiness you might expect. Decent beer, but there are certainly better examples of the style. judasbeer (230), Budapest, Hungary Oct 31, 2009 355 ml Bottle. Dark ruby-brown color with diminishing beige head. Fruity aroma of dark berries and cherries with some weird metallic or medicinal
chacacter that i can’t define at the moment. Dry, grainy, roasted malt dominate in the flavor along with some dark fruity character. Medium to full bodied with slightly over-carbonated texture. I think that freaky, grainy character comes from the oats that causes
all the unbalancedness of this beer in my opinion. Not bad at all, but i could imagine a more balanced one. armando629 (954), Budapest, Hungary Oct 28, 2009 Poured deepdeep black with a superb foamy-creamy beige head. Rich aroma of coffe and chocolate, some fruity hops, and of course the deep roasted grains. The flavor starts with a sweet chocolate character but the fine hop and the roasted malt with taste of coffee and cocoa bring over my palate: it is a great stout... milewide (609), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 28, 2009 Too sweet! Like drinking a carmel sundae. No burnt malt or hop bitterness. Not as opaque as many RIS. A complete disappointment. carlb (36), East Lansing, Michigan, USA Oct 14, 2009 Pours like a full-bodied ale: Slow and dense with a gradually forming three-finger, creamy, tan head. The stout is totally black; my light source cannot penetrate it! My anticipation is rising! The nose suggests dark chocolate, toasted bread, coffee. Medium-full on the palate with extensive lingering and a few medicinal, licorice, notes down the center. It appears to be sweet and dry, but that is likely the hops helping clear the sweet and toasty notes. The hops are not evident in the nose but show up on the palate. Warmth from the alcohol - It is an Imperial! The carbonation is medium-light and very pleasant. Nice Belgian lace. Very smooth and moreish; tempting to drink too much - too soon, given the 10.4% ABV. Anker (305), Hillerřd, Denmark Oct 14, 2009 Bottle shared with Andreasen11 and plovmand at Oliver Twist.
