Taste of the same with the alcohol being very well balanced within the beer. Not the best but pretty tasty. harrisoni (6946), Ashford, Kent, England

Very choccy and very fruity on aroma, lots of black cherry. It is like drinking liquidised Belgian dark choc black cherry chocolates. Rather a different impy stout. More choccy and fruity. Verges on the cheesey on the aroma. A little oily in the mouth. acertain (249), Seattle, Washington, USA

In the mouth, it’s quite carbonated, with tastes of coffee and sugar. Maybe not quite the best IS in the world, but damn good! cgarvieuk (4216), Edinburgh, Scotland

Deep black ... lots of deep roast malt nose ... sweet slightly meaty ... quite fruity ... rich roast malts ... little bitter bite ... little spice ... little spirit burn .
tk2 Bottle at home .... Mouth feel is a bit too fizzy for what i expect for a Stout ... Rich roast malt nose ... full flavour rich sweet but a bit over spirity 4.0 ->3.5 This is a good exaple of a beer that needed a bigger sample to truly get its measure. While wonderfully rich the Alcohol shows through too much to be a world class beer. and for my money id rather drink their milk stout. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA

Deep roasted malty aroma. Flavor is chocolate-y, the roasted malts also make their presence known, as well as a light bitterness towards the end. Very smooth all around. Real good beer.
