Commercial Description:
Jackman's American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It's noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

Light in color and has an off-white color. Is a pretty pathetic American Pale Ale. I do have to admit that it is rather hoppy and nicely bitter. Overall, it’s still not a great American pale ale.

12 oz into pint glass. Pretty light, very clear copper color with pig creamy white head that holds well and laces well. Very solid aroma with notes of citrusy hops and a doughy maltyness - very balanced and attractive. The flavor isn’t as balanced. It is good, but the malt seems to take over and the only really ho sessionable p character is in the bitter (flavorless) hop finish. Medium bodied on the palate - smooth with minimal carbonation. Overall: this is a solid pale ale; not great but definitely not bad... and highly too.

12oz. Pours a golden orange with a small off-white head. Nose is mostly sweet, hoppy malt with some barnyard thrown in the mix. Body is mostly grassy hops with the slightest notion of sweet malt. Palate is well carbonated, the finish is pretty dry and bitter.

Dull beige-amber colour. Slightly citrusy hops nose. Fairly basic American pale with light bitterness, sweet caramel malts and a light hoppy finish.

Bottle. Hazy amber with off-white head. Earthy aroma, with some minced nuts and dried apricots. High but soft carbonation. Odd flavors. Really earthy with lots of dark ripe fruits. Overly malty. Not my thing.

Tall tan head atop a cloudy golden body, this ale has medium hops levels and a bit of citrus to it. A real solid choice in the APA style.

Left Hand brews a good APA with Jackman’s. Strong pale biscuit malts, medium bitterness, golden body with a blanket of white foam.
