Commercial Description:
Jackman's American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It's noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

Medium offwhite head does not last. Hazy yellow body with floaties. (It’s old. Brewed 2007-04-18.) Firm sweet malty aroma with traces of hops. (Probably more when new.) Dry-sweet firm malty milky taste with resiny citric hops and straw. Milky chocolatey notes, with traces of tobacco. (Did I mention it was old?) Nice, but not a great beer. Wonder what it would be like new. Will rerate if I can find it again. (0.355l bottle, Beer Palace, Oslo.)

Orange color. Slight smell of hops. Taste, though... eh... Not too impressed. Thin. Watery for a pale ale. Left Hand should probably stick to their darker and thicker beers.

Pours a orange/amber color with a medium-sized light beige head. A floral aroma and a clean, hoppy taste (but not too bitter). Easy drinking. Pair with grilled trout (stuffed with a bit of sauerkraut and swiss cheese), wild rice and grilled red, yellow and green bell peppers.

Bottle. Light copper in color with a fluffy off-white head. Smells a little stale, musty. Lively palate with a good balance of toasted malt and hops. Finishes clean. Nice beer, but nothing special.

Amber colored with aroma of light sweet malts and light floral hops. Taste isn’t over-hopped and goes down pretty smooth with a medium bitter aftertaste. Not too bad.

Left hand Brewery night at Three Cellars, Milwaukee. Talk about a easy beer to drink. Hoppy and smooth. No harshness considering how hoppy it is. Crisp and refreshing. A great summer beer!

Pours clear orangish color with white head. Aroma of floral hops. Flavor is slightly sweet, mild hop bitterness and some malt taste. Medium body with average carbonation. Nicely balanced, average pale ale.

Bottle. Medium amber body, some hops and crystal malts in the nose, medium off-white head. Pretty good malt/hop balance, nice fruity flavors with moderate bitterness.
