Nice aroma of caramel and gentle hops. Flavour is citrus hops and sweet malt but it finishes a little flat and "dusty". tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark golden almost orange color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma is citrus and floral hops and mildly sweet malt. The flavor opens with some grapefruit bitterness that is followed by enough moderately sweet caramel malt to off set a bit. Finish is still citrus and maybe a little pine. Not a bad APA. car2nwallaby (8), USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 8, 2008 pretty hoppy; fairly bitter but it’s well balanced. Pretty well carbonated. Not exceptional, but a very good example of an American Pale Ale. AmEricanbrew (1999), Almost, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Clear amber with a white sheen . Malty fruit nose like an english pale. Medium body with low carbonation. Lighty sweet smooth malt flavor with a hint of biscuits. Has a mildly bitter floral hop bite to finish. Decent enough. 012706 Ughsmash (4090), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Bottled, Rating #300 for the beer. Poured translucent lighter orange with a nice fluffy cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up toasty caramel, hay, and honey in an odd, almost vegetal presentation.. took some time to get used to, but it was aiight. The flavor had semi-sweet, toasted caramel and light nutty notes at the core, with bitterness around the edges really taking over.. dry grassy notes, some citrus, and a touch of pine represented.. left an uber-dry, kind of grainy feel on the finish. Roughly medium-bodied with too much carbonation going on.. this was also a touch too dry for my liking on the finish. Nevertheless, a decent drinker. kidmartinek (1001), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2008 A nice amber pour, slightly cloudy with lots of foam. Very frothy. The aroma is very hoopy like an IPA, as is the taste. Good hop flavor, and medium/strong full beer. Not the weak water american ale I was expecting. Some lacing on the glass. The aftertaste is a little bland.
