Commercial Description:
Jackman's American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It's noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

Bottle. Amber color. Has a fruity, faint hops aroma. Can taste the hops. Nice example of a pale ale for me. Well developed and not overpowering. Nice bite followed by smoothness. Enjoyable, I can actually taste the flavor. Crisp up front, bite on palate is perfect, and is followed by a smooth light finish.

Cloudy orange, honey colored with a nice offwhite head. Smell was a great sweet and hoppy mix. Well hopped nose. Quite full flavored, balanced, with a perfectly nice bitterness for a pale. A well balanced and nicely flavored beer overall. I really liked this one. Tried alongside 2 other mediocre pales, and this was far and away the best.

The aroma has pine hops, caramel malt, and nuts. The appearance is amber with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is pretty good. I rather like this one.

Pours a straight up amber color with a slightly off-white head, which lasts. Hoppy aroma with some fruitiness imbued inside. Goes down pretty easy as a well balanaced combination of just the right amount of hops and malts. Not too bitter, not too malty just right smack in the middle.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Fruity malty floral hoppy aroma. Sweet malty hoppy caramel flavor with nice grapefruit hints. Fruity malty and hoppy finish, with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

This beer gets the dreaded "3.1". Not bad and would buy again, but nothing that stands out from the pack. Aroma was nice...mostly malt with some earthy hops. Pour was a decent light amber with a 1 finger off white head. Taste was grassy hops with a strong malt backbone that evens this beer out. Both flavors are a tad on the weak end so neither dominate, yet neither impress.
