Commercial Description:
Jackman's American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It's noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

Bottle... Clear, light amber ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. Sweet aroma of warm caramel with an earthy, hop undertone. Well-balanced flavor with medium bitterness provided in order to restrain the malty sweetness. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes fairly crisply with a soft hop bite.

Bottle, Lager Glass, Pours a nice light copper color with a nice standing off white head. Malts are more noticible than the hops in the aroma, which are carmel in taste and flavor. Malts are a bit citric, Nothing really to special about this brew. Drinkable but not memorable. Like most of th Left Hand brews their decent but nothing to write home about.

12oz, bottled 11/06/06. Orange-gold color with a nice head. Seems hazy. Citrus and vegetal aromas, kinda weak. Taste is sweet at first with a mildly earthy and mildly spicy flavor to go along with the caramel sweetness that is cleaned up by the mild, but harsh bitterness. I don’t really care for this beer.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head that laces and cloudy gold color. Aroma is citrus hops, malt-caramel. Taste is citrus hops-bitter, malt-caramel. Easy drinking, good session beer. OK carbonation.

Most flavorful Pale Ale I’ve ever had. Pretty impressive, I thought! It has a great golden amber color and thing lumpy head. A great flavor of just enough hops, with some fruits and a great balance. Definately would drink this one again!

Orange coppery color with medium light colored head. Caramel and citrus flavors with some light malt and hops. Great APA.
