| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2007 20-Feb-07, 12 oz, Bottled on 10.25.06 Got this in the 12pk mixer. The plain old clear amber colored beer is covered in a lasting, medium sized, sticky white head. Aroma is pleasant enough, mild, and inviting with basic c-hop notes, sweet fruits, light biscuit. Pretty generic though pleasant stuff beginning to end, it’s a bit too light in body for my liking, although that makes it a quick quencher. Malts dominate the finish and some vegetal and husky flavors come through with temp but nothing offensive. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Updated: Oct 9, 200712 oz bottle via Arctic Liquors Beer of The month club. Pours a clear amber with an above average sized white head. Nose is both floral and citrusy. Taste is very nice balanced with bittersweet orange hops and caramel malts, with lots of fruity esters as well. Average carbonation. Light/Meduim body. Refeshing. One of the better pale ales. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Pours copper, super clear with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops Cascade and Mt. Hood I think, also has a faint toasty malt charcter in the nose. Nice smooth flavor of malt and hops though hops play the major role in this beer. Malt is lacking a little for the amount of hops. Finishes dry. I rate this beer well because of the drinkability of it, I could drink this all night and probably will. No "off" fermentation flaws or stale oxidized flavors. Nice yeast thier using. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 21, 2007 Pours a bright and clear copper color, topped by half an inch of white foam. The head reduces to a thin cap and a thicker ring. Spotty lacing. Good malty aroma with a little tart citrus in the background.
Malt flavor not as prominent as the aroma indicated, toasted and grain flavors. Citrus hops are tasty and provide a nice balance. Still, neither the malt not the hops stand out, though the hops show some promise.
Moderately carbonated, lighter bodied. Clean and drinkable, it seems very fresh, but there are better pales out there for the money.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 17, 2007 Slightly-hazy, light amber/gold body, with a thin off-white head. What there was of the head, though, did leave a pretty decent lace. Aroma was mostly caramel/toffee, which was a bit of a disappointment. The flavor, however, contained many more hops than the aroma led me to expect, and that proved to be a very nice surprise. The carbonation was quite good, and that helped make this a very drinkable beer. I just might have another.
