| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Bottle. Orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, yeasty, with notes of bread malt and oranges. The flavour has bready malt and not much in the form of hops which I generally hope for in an APA. ancherrera (161), Cape Coral, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2006 Bottle. Pours golden-copper with moderate head and sudsy lacing. Aroma is piney and floral hops and just a little citrusy, with considerable sweet malt as well. Flavor is piney hops and a little citrus up front, moving into a well-balanced hop/malt mixture (less sweet than in the aroma), and finishing moderately bitter. Mild carbonation. Quite good. bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2006 Updated: Jul 15, 2006The nose on this is truly beautiful... oranges and caramel make the aroma very fresh and comforting. Pours an orange tea into the glass with a tiny retentive head and light sudsy lace. Nicely balanced caramels, nuts and melony citrus well-integrated with a nutty finish and light oily mouthfeel. Biscuits come through from time to time, making for nice diversity in the palate. Very satisfying... perfect for April through October months. Would make for a nice session brew! Very good offering here, and I wish that the current rating (3.17) were a bit higher. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2006 An impressively well balanced pale ale. This has everything an APA should, and others should take from its example. Fresh cut tangerine peels, along with some floral arrangements in the nose. Caramel maltiness along with some ripe fruit notes. The balance of the nutty malts and the spicy fruitiness in the hops makes this a really broad spectrum and tasty pale ale.
