| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with a bottled on date along the lower right side of label, 02/16/05.
Made a decent appearance, poured a orange hued amber with a small foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, good carbonation.
Had a nose of caramel malts and spicy, floral hops with a light citrus at the edges.
A crisp and smooth medium bodied mouthfeel, good drinkability.
Rich tasting caramel malts balanced by a spicy floral and citric hoppiness, the hop bitterness is sharp at first, then rolling in the palate, and a dry grainy and hop oily finish.
A nice APA from Left Hand, easy quaffability.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Pours hazy orange with small white head. Nose is bright hops and orange blossom. Flavor is bitter hops with little malt balance, and what there is tastes like bread dough. Rather thin on the tongue. Mildly bitter end. Reasonably refreshing... good sessionista. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Pours a hazy copper, thin white head. Aroma was bready with faint flowery hops. Flavor is caramel, malty, bready & piney. Finish might have been a teensy bit watery. I would have liked just a tad more hops, but this was still enjoyable.
Note: the date on my bottle was somewhat smudged and looked like 03/05, so I will hold the right to re-rate this upon consumption of a ’fresher’ bottle. Bosco (65), Boca Raton, Florida, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Somewhat weak citrus aroma. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Medium to high sweetness, with a flavor of caramel. Medium to low bitterness for a pale ale. Ok finish with a hint of citrus at the end. GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2006 Sampled from bottle. This APA pours clear, copper-gold in color with a thin white head and nice lacing. Aroma is subtle with floral and candy notes. Flavor is slightly bitter and bready with a faint flavor hop addition. Quite a clean finish. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated. A well-attenuated, easy drinking session APA. While it won’t blow your mind, anyone should be able to enjoy a pint of this at their local and be satisfied.
