This was a very blunt very forward overly hoppy apa. There was very little to none malt character. Would of been a decent IPA. Only a so-so APA. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Average sized head that falls away quickly into a medium amber beer.
Diminished malt aroma, little from the hops.
Flavor is sweet with just a bit of hops to balance. Just another weak Pale Ale. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2005 Amber body, thin white head. Aroma is mild, some notes of honey and flowery hops. Flavor profile is typical APA; crisp, hoppy and refreshing, but it really doesn’t stand out against the many out there. Par for the course. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 8, 2005 2005 bottle. Clear orange-amber colored body with a small white head, low retention. Aroma of sticky caramel malt, sweaty hay, a bit of floral hops, but overall, pretty low on hops aroma. Flavor stays with the malty trend, with some lightly spicy hops, a hint of floral notes but mainly just a simple bready-caramel malt flavor. Medium body, forced carbonation. I liked that it wasn’t over-hopped. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2005 Thin head that reduces quickly. Good carbonation. Light citrus and hops aroma. Medium orange in color. Light and crisp flavor. Good bit of hops and a little malt for balance. Bit fruity with a hint of pineapple. Finish is clean and smooth. Little hop bitterness. A decent pale ale. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2005 bottle-january 04-This pale ale pours a dark orange hue with a nice white head and good lacing from the start. Big citric/herbal aromas rise from the glass with notes of lemon, pineapple, and herbal notes. kinda like herbal escence shampoo. Flavors are light with those citric notes with some oxidative malt flavors. light herbal finish. Pretty average pale that would probably be much better fresh on tap. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 29, 2005 Aroma is quite light of orange soda pop and cardboard.
Dull cloud of warm gold with slow percolating carbonation, softly firm bone white head thats about a pencil width high. Oily, minimal spotty lacing.
Taste is a bit drab with a subdued malty sweetness of wheat germ, faint grain, way mellow and dulled orangey hued hops. Cardboard dust settles across the finish with a very light woodish herbal mix of hop flavor; no bite.
Feel is about medium with a mellow carbonation on the palate, dusty cardboard, chalk, and tin remain fluffy and enveloped from midway to finsih with an unwelcome amount that takes away from the overall.
Not a bad drinker though, its slippery enough and not too uneven, just a bit drab and unactive to light up any lights on my APA runway.
