| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 21, 2005 Hazy amber body with a thickish white head. Musky, woody centennial hop aroma with a sweet caramel malt background. Routine flavor, sweet caramel malt background with floral, grassy hops layered on top. Crisp finish, not too sweet or dry.
I just finished bottling a batch of an all-Centennial IPA, and because this beer reminds me a lot of it, it’s kind of turning me off. An OK APA. jimhilt (1681), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 20, 2005 Pours a two-finger white head that stays leaving a lot lace. Clear amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Starts with a mix of hops and malts with the hops dominating, finishes with the hops of course but just a hint of sweetness in the background. $1.65 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, MA. jigglyjock (159), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2005 Updated: Dec 21, 2005Pours a slightly dark golden color with a soft head consisting of small, fine bubbles. Aroma of faint hops and light to medium malt. Has a light malt flavor with a moderate bitter hop bite. Medium body and moderate carbonation. IHO, not a pale ale that has any quality that makes it stick out in my mind. A drier pale ale with not much oomph. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2005 Clear, dark golden body with moderate carbonation and a sudsy white head. Balanced nose of toasty pale malt and piney American hops. Has a floral, hoenysuckle quality and some mild cheesiness. A decent, well-rounded American pale ale. Not overly exciting but a solid session beer when fresh. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA
