| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 30, 2009 A crystal clear, medium golden-amber colored body is topped with a fleeting head of spongy, off-white froth. Ultra-sticky cobweb sheeting coats the majority of the glass. The nose is really heavy on sweet crystal malt and caramel, with hints of toasted bread underneath a lightly peppery, floral hop overtone. Flavors are intensely sweet for the style, not nealr balanced enough as the caramel malt dominates all else. Faded floral hops and traces of pepper and citrus strugge to keep up. Syrupy in the mouth, the palate borders on sickeningly sweet. Not a good pale ale. Tons of sugar and not much else. JediMindTricks (240), Hampton, Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Bottle. pours a honey colored body with some amber highlights and a fluffy, off-white, lacing head. Smells of fruit hops with notes of malt and caramel. Tastes of fruit hops and some biscuit, caramel flavors. Finish is slightly bitter and metallic. jrob21 (1270), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2009 Bottle out of the sampler. Pours a slightly unassuming clear orange color. Aroma is a little more exciting with some pine and a tinge of bubblegum hops. Flavor is mostly sticky pine hops and some caramel sweetness to round it out a bit. A little weak on most fronts unfortunately but what is there is promising. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 10, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased from the Food City in Clinton. Poured a clear amber/gold color with a one finger, sparse white head. The aroma was mainly caramel malt with notes of pine and citrus. The flavor was fairly well balanced, with the caramel malt dominating a bit more than it should. A solid bitter finish. The mouthfeel was a bit sticky, the carbonation was mild and the body was medium/light. This didn’t stand out at all, but certainly wasn’t bad. EHopper (348), Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Another so so pale ale. Very drinkable. Just nothing memorable. Part of a variety pack, and OK as such. Has most of what a good pale ale has, just a bit weak and unbalanced. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Pale golden amber beer. Creamy tan head. The aroma is lightly hoppy. A little bit of orange citrus along with a touch of herbal character as well. Flavour is a little bit hoppy, but not nearly enough. Lightly sweet with a bit of lingering bitterness. Slightly minerally toward the finish. It’s a fairly straightforward APA, not terribly distinctive, but it certainly isn’t bad. glennmastrange (857), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of roasted and caramel, pine for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with background notes of date, toffee or brown sugar, pepper, dried cherry, and for the first time in any beer for me, mango. Head is frothy, slightly off-white, with good sticky lacing and is mosly lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber/orange. Flavor is lightly sweet, acidic and bitter to starts and the long finish is lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery but a little oily and has a carbonation between. Okay aromas but the flavors were a little out of balance. Still a good drinking American Pale Ale.
