| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 25, 2009 Hazy amber body with a large off-white head. Good head retention, islands of suds last on the surface of the beer even after most of it is gone, decent lacing as well. Aroma has a whiff of citric hops, sweetness of banana. Flavor begins with banana, a bit of citric hops, perceptible hops bitterness on top of smooth pale malt body. A touch of medincial phenol. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, but despite the large head comes off a little flat. crajun (97), , Texas, USA

downhill from there, not horrible, but not something I really want to drink noel1369 (4), Ada, Michigan, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 21, 2009 12oz.Bottle I found this to be much better than expected. Being a bit more of an IPA drinker than a classic pale drinker, its hop character surprised me. I tasted this in a small pour stricktly to evaluate it. The color was a bit more copper than I would expect in a pale. The aromas of cascade and centennial were great. Nice mouthfeel - clean hop flavors. Simply a nice pale. michael-pollack (2726), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2009 Draught at TND: Aroma of hops, berries, strawberry, slight pine, and slight citrus. Poured orange/amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, rocky off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of pale malts, light hops, grains, light caramel, slight vegetables, and a bit of grass. Light to medium body. Average, slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, malty, grainy finish is lightly dry. HogTownHarry (4025), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Hazy light amber with a solid foamy white head (3+). Moderately sweet but dry aroma, citrus and floral bitterness. The taste follows - juicy and mildly bitter, very delicate fruity malt, quite refreshing if somewhat forgettable. Average body, just a whisper of astringency, lightly carbonated, with a soft floral aftertaste. Could down a sixer no problem at all - would make a good beer for fishin, if sold in cans. milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
