Oct 30, 2005 Wow. This might be the best pale ale I’ve ever had. Perfect amount of body, well-hopped, but not overly so. A very well-made, drinkable beer.

Amber colour with thin white head.
Very tempting caramel/toffee, a bit citrusy and hoppy aroma. Hoppy, balanced flavour. Probably the best pale ale I have ever tasted. I like this A LOT!

Jun 10, 2004 This is a beer I’ve wanted to sample for a long time. Nice head out of bottle. Amber color, Citrusy, sweet and hoppy. Smooth with mouthful feel. Very nice APA. This is a great Pale Ale. Another beer I would place in my must have list.

Nov 11, 2005 Bottle. . .Hoppy aroma with malty hints. . . honey-amber / copper, crystal clear, a few trails of bubbles, light tan head coating the glass. . . .malty start and hoppy finish. Nice balance. . . .light-medium body, light carbonation. . .Very drinkable American Pale ale. On the hoppy side (the way I like it) but nicely balanced.

Jan 4, 2008 12oz bottle - Poured hazy golden color with small head with nice lacing on glass. Wow!! very nice hop aroma and taste is also nicely hopped and caramel sweet. This is the first beer Ihave had from Left Hand Brewing and I am impressed. This beer has such a fresh hop taste with a spicy hop lingering aftertaste.

Feb 21, 2009 12oz.Bottle I found this to be much better than expected. Being a bit more of an IPA drinker than a classic pale drinker, its hop character surprised me. I tasted this in a small pour stricktly to evaluate it. The color was a bit more copper than I would expect in a pale. The aromas of cascade and centennial were great. Nice mouthfeel - clean hop flavors. Simply a nice pale.

Sep 20, 2003 Copper, thick off-white head. Hoppy nose, pine, a bit scotchy, nice hearty bready malt undertone. Quite hoppy, quite tart at the beginning, finishes nicely malty, buttery, bready, and caramel. Nice balance between an American hoppiness and some British character to the malts, really quite enjoyable.
