Amber colour with thin white head.
Very tempting caramel/toffee, a bit citrusy and hoppy aroma. Hoppy, balanced flavour. Probably the best pale ale I have ever tasted. I like this A LOT! Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA

Wow!! very nice hop aroma and taste is also nicely hopped and caramel sweet. This is the first beer Ihave had from Left Hand Brewing and I am impressed. This beer has such a fresh hop taste with a spicy hop lingering aftertaste. noel1369 (4), Ada, Michigan, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 21, 2009 12oz.Bottle I found this to be much better than expected. Being a bit more of an IPA drinker than a classic pale drinker, its hop character surprised me. I tasted this in a small pour stricktly to evaluate it. The color was a bit more copper than I would expect in a pale. The aromas of cascade and centennial were great. Nice mouthfeel - clean hop flavors. Simply a nice pale. morty99 (371), Maryland, USA

Hoppy nose, pine, a bit scotchy, nice hearty bready malt undertone. Quite hoppy, quite tart at the beginning, finishes nicely malty, buttery, bready, and caramel. Nice balance between an American hoppiness and some British character to the malts, really quite enjoyable.
