Oct 18, 2008 Bottled 8/29/07. Clouded copper body with a finger of creamy cream colored head leaving a settled cover and some lacing painted to the side of the glass. Small bit of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is definitely ginger, like pickled ginger on a sushi plate. Light body gives some mild bready notes and caramel but then a rush of more pickled ginger. A year in the bottle hasn’t hurt this one and while this is definitely well-crafted it is also definitely not my styele.

Clear amber coloured with a small white head.
Fruity aroma of hay with notes of spices.
Fruity flavour of hay and spices with notes of ginger and citrus.
Spicy finish.

Aroma fileld with ginger, some floarl hops.
Taste is much of the same, ginger all over, light bitter hops finish.
Fairly weak brew, a lot of ginger, but not much else going on there.

Oct 5, 2008 Perhaps I am biased as I do not like ginger but this beer to me was just not drinkable. The flavor is strong ginger which is not the flavor I want in a beer. It was just weird. I won’t drink this one again.

Oct 4, 2008 like some of this brewery’s beer, but they missed the mark here.body is very light and finish not near dry enough.. HEY LEFT-HAND... FIGURE-OUT WHAT YOUR RIGHT HAND IS DOING & retire this beer... the only ginger i want to do with beer... is on gilligan’s island

Oct 4, 2008 Updated: Oct 5, 2008Golden color with a slight amber hue and a thin white head. Must be unfiltered because there are flakes floating around in it. Light ginger aroma and strong ginger taste with a slightly malty mouth feel and some hop bitterness. Not much going on here.

Pours a quite pretty, golden yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma has powerful ginger with some slight malts behind it. High carbonation, very thin. Flavour is softly malty, but is soon overtaken by a heavy dose of harsh, fresh ginger. Too unbalanced.

Sep 29, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a two finger white head. Aroma of ginger and sweet malt. Flavor was yeasty with ginger and sweet malt. Carbonation was a tad low.
