Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Bottle: Pour is medium/light golden with a fluffy white head. Some sediment in suspension. Aroma is of malt and strong ginger. Flavors include biscuits, ginger, light hop bitterness, light caramel. Crisp brew with a somewhat smooth finish. Carbonation could be slightly higher. Decent.

12 oz bottle...pours amber with a fluffy, two finder white head. The head settles and leaves some streaky lacing down the glass. Aroma of pickled ginger, florals and sugary malts. Flavor was watered down gingle ale w/o the sweetness. A bit of yeast, and bread sneak in there as well. The palate was watery, light bodied, with a lasting ginger finish. Crisp and clean, but a bit too bitter. I also had a few metallics sneak into the back palate. Not bad, would be a great lawnmower beer...

12oz bottle from Total Wine (Tampa, FL). Pours a copper color with a one finger white foamy head that settles quickly but still provides some lacing on the glass. Aroma has strong ginger notes with flowers, sweet malt, and spice. Flavor is bread, yeast, grass and strong notes of fresh ginger. Some notes of pine and pepper as the beer warms. Generally light bodied with crisp finish.

12oz bottle. Ginger aroma. Full on ginger flavor. Filtered golden color. Highly carbonated. The relatively low alcohol definitely keeps it drinkable. Pretty straightforward, ok for what it is.

355 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a course white head. Loads of ginger in the nose with a touch of pepper. Medium to light body. Decent malt base with a predominant ginger presence. Slight spice and pepper in the finish. Interesting twist.

Gold/orange pour, white head. Smelled slightly sweet. Tasted a bit sweet malt and citrus, some pine and grass. NO bitterness. Finished all right, not excessively gingery. My friend who had this in the back of his fridge warned me not to drink it. It was a lighter beer than I typically like, but not bad.

Bottle.Surprisingly drinkable as I usually think of these types of beers as just for novelty.Slightly creamy and the ginger doesn’t take control of the beer. Not brilliant but better than anticipated.
