Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

On tap at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam.
Pale amber coloured, small white head, dusty light ginger nose. Very mild prickling ginger taste with notes of chamomile tea. Spicy finish. Interesting but weak.

Peachy orange colour with massive thick head. Aroma and flavour dominated by ginger in a sweet sugary kind of way. Not terrible as a ’concept’ beer but not worth repeating.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a very small white head. Smells strongly of ginger. Tastes the same with a little malt flavor.

never had a Ginger beer before. Juju tasted like many of the ginger ales I’ve had over the years. Add in light malts and bitterness and you have a ginger beer. Can this be considered a summer beer?

Bottle, Raven, Liverpool. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a small off white head. Ginger, grassy hop aroma. Flavour was light ginger and caramel malt. Light to medium body. A bit on the watery side, but drinkable.

Bottle @ home. Golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of fruits, ginger and some sugar. Taste is ginger mixed with amber beer flavours, like sweet malts. Not too sweet though, actually quite refreshing. A nice surprise, this beer.

Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet aroma with fruit and ginger notes. Same goes for the sweet flavor.
