Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

This beer pours a golden amber color with a frothy, quickly vanishing white head. It smells like a pale american light lager with ginger in it, and it tastes like it too. It is barely carbonated, and has a watery mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. I think this would be a novelty pairing for Asian food to accentuate recipes that contain ginger, but it’s too bland to enjoy alone. I don’t know if I would actually serve this.

Bottle. Pours golden amber with thin white head. Nice ginger aroma. Taste is remiscent of a bad pale ale with overtones of ginger. Interesting concept.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, and I tried this just because of the weird and unique idea of ginger in beer, was a gingerfied brew with a good balance of hops and malt.

I had to try this beer twice because I had a cold and couldn’t taste or smell anything by the time I tried it.Not too bad I’d say if you like trying new and different types of beers than this is worth your time and money.

12 oz bottle, pours a somewhat clear golden color with a medium head. Took a long time for the carbonation to subside. Aroma was strong and of ginger, with a spicy/fruity mix. However, the palate was very watery and the taste was quite bitter and unsatisfying. Not a terrible choice for a hot day but overall not my favorite.

Pour is a bright orange with a white head. Aroma is ginger but nothing else. Flavor is very watery with again some ginger but nothing else. Super light in all categories. Best thing about this beer is that it would be refresing on a hot day.

The color was cloudy golden. The head was thin, white, and fizzy. The aroma was strong ginger, spices, and ale. The flavor was ginger, sweet, but lacking. The palate was lively. The finish was abrupt.

Golden colour, small white head. Initially, the ginger is a nice surprise, but along the beer its getting to overpowering. Maybe nice on a really hot day.
