It smells like a pale american light lager with ginger in it, and it tastes like it too. It is barely carbonated, and has a watery mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. I think this would be a novelty pairing for Asian food to accentuate recipes that contain ginger, but it’s too bland to enjoy alone. I don’t know if I would actually serve this. Taste is remiscent of a bad pale ale with overtones of ginger. Interesting concept. BeerFanDan17 (625), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

As I recall, and I tried this just because of the weird and unique idea of ginger in beer, was a gingerfied brew with a good balance of hops and malt. ILoveNewBeer (113), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Took a long time for the carbonation to subside. Aroma was strong and of ginger, with a spicy/fruity mix. However, the palate was very watery and the taste was quite bitter and unsatisfying. Not a terrible choice for a hot day but overall not my favorite. thegreenrooster (1841), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Pour is a bright orange with a white head. Aroma is ginger but nothing else. Flavor is very watery with again some ginger but nothing else. Super light in all categories. Best thing about this beer is that it would be refresing on a hot day. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2008 The color was cloudy golden. The head was thin, white, and fizzy. The aroma was strong ginger, spices, and ale. The flavor was ginger, sweet, but lacking. The palate was lively. The finish was abrupt. Bullit (1374), Glasgow, Scotland
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Golden colour, small white head. Initially, the ginger is a nice surprise, but along the beer its getting to overpowering. Maybe nice on a really hot day.
