Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

I thought this was an interesting beer. I like having this beer with sushi and Asian food as well. Pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is of ginger. The flavor is slightly sweet but the ginger adds a little bitterness. I think it is an interesting idea for a beer. Nothing I would want a 6 pack of, but not bad for one or two every once in a while.

Bottle. Light unclear light to medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate ginger ginger. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration. (Spicy ginger burn and bitternes). Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (060208)

12 oz bottle. Looks like a decent enough beer, dark gold with a big bubbled head. Aroma certainly is ginger. Flavor seems to have a bit of honey in it with the ginger that balances it from being too sweet. Not a bad idea and executed well.

Pours a pale yellow with a one finger frothy yellow head. The aroma is spicy, ginger is noticeable, not too forward of an aroma. The flavor has a definite ginger spice, but its more subdued than i thought it would be. Easy to drink but I wouldnt want more than one.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellowish copper, with some nice head that disappears soon. Some wild lacing about. Aroma is ginger, sticky malts. Flavor is spicy ginger, some malts. Fairly one-dimensional. Thin-bodied on the palate, spicy, but fairly drinkable.

Aroma reminded me of Christmas, the ginger and hops was like all those old Christmas trees,I could have inhaled this for a long time. Unfortunately, none of that transfered to the taste. Flavor was thin honey sweet, with just the minutest flecks of ginger and hops. Almost worth the price just for the aroma

Nice light amber hue with a very thin white head. Aroma is lightly malty, caramel, with more of a cinnamon rather then ginger note. Taste is lightly malty, caramel, ginger is very very light. I’m a big fan of ginger, but this just doesn’t show enough to have it be the main aspect of the brew.

Bottle. Served chilled. Creamy makty nose with honey and ginger. pours a lagerstyle golden beer with cisible carbonation. Fluffy head. Grassy and hoppy notes. Ginger only detected once the beer warmed up. Not bad but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it again.
