Head disappears pretty rapidly though. A faint aroma, mostly of hops and some hints of ginger. Taste is much the same, faint, with hops and slight amount of ginger peaking though. Palate is light, crisp, somewhat refreshing. Decent little brew. beerlady (457), lucerne, Switzerland

Re-rate: ik vind het nu toch wel een speciaal biertje fruitig en niet wrang. De 2.1 van de eerste rating moet ik toch herzien. maeib (4728), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Bottled. A clear golden coloured beer with a stubborn off white head. This reminds me of an English cask ginger beer. Lightly hopped and fairly subtle ginger notes all round. Clean and friendly. Just enough ginger to tickle the taste buds and set itself apart from an ordinary golden ale. Appealing. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2007 From a bottle purchased at By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a golden-copper body with an average sized white head. Aroma of ginger and bread, not gingerbread, though. The ginger nose and flavor was mild considering other ginger beers and the potency of ginger itself. Clean, crisp, spicy flavor. A little thin and dull on the finish. Interesting, however. hophead75 (1959), Boonton, New Jersey, USA

Taste has a light to moderate amount of ginger, as well as a bit of grain and sweet pale malts. Light bodied and fairly refreshing and clean. not too exciting though. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Was expecting the ginger to stand out a lot more, though the partner thinks it was fairly noticeable. Clear pale gold body, compact head, aroma of dried straw, some ginger in the taste and not that refreshing.
