Amber in color with a nice head. The aroma was light with a good malt balance. The Ginger I was expecting to be more. Ginger is a huge aroma and this was very light. The flavor had a tad ore bite of the ginger. This was too light in my opinion. The beer had some great ale flavors. I was just expecting more. Not bad just needs more flavor to be a spicy beer.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Pale golden body with minimal head. Aroma is light with some bread malts and a touch of ginger. Starts a touch malty before bittering slightly with a hint of ginger snaps. IndianaRed (1560), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Bottle Pours a hazy very pale orange golden color with a very dense white creamy head. Aroma of a typical PA but I do notice the sweet ginger notes. May not have if I hadn’t know before hand. Some fruity apple hints as well. Light malts and a touch of hops and that ginger is just barely there. Subsequent sips mad the odd ginger flavor more apparent. Rather obvious paper trailer and a lively carbonation. Built for a session beer and with teh Ginger not being to forefront, does just fine at that. Heathen (810), Riverside, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 21, 2007 THOUGHTS: Sounded very interesting, but reminded me of a less flavorful pumpkin or holiday ale. I just felt that the pale ale style wasn’t complex enough for the ginger to work well with. It wasn’t that it was bad, just not as good as I was expecting.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, dark yellow with nice carbonation and a small, sudsy, white head that mostly lasted. There wasn’t much head there, but it didn’t go away quick. The aroma was mostly ginger. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and bitter, while the finsh was moderately sweet and acidic and lightly to moderately bitter and sour with an average duration. The flavor was mostly ginger but there was also amlost a little lemony too with just a little hop bitterness. The light to medium body was I guess gingery with fizzy carbonation with a slighlty metallic finish. Beerlando (2344), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Hazy orange-amber body. Small white head recedes to a thin film with a small edge. Minimal spotty lacing dots the glass. The aroma is not at all attractive, showing stale candied ginger, toasted bread, light caramel, and indistinguishable sweet and sour vegetables (perhaps tomato?). The flavor is unpleasant and vegetal, with soured ginger and a failed attempt at a caramel malt base. Pungent aftertaste lingers for far too long. Thin, watery body. Not good on any level. Left Hand desperately needs to take a few lessons from Kiuchi in the discipline of brewing ginger beer. Borderline drain pour. SoLan (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Clear light amber. Small white head. Fragrant aroma of ginger and subtle hops. Flavor of a mild pale ale with a moderate amount of fresh ginger. Medium/light body, balanced carbonation. Not very exciting, but drinkable. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 14, 2007 POurs a crystal clear orange color with little to no head. Pretty malty smelling, with hints of the ginger and mild hops. nothing exciting there. The ginger was quite overpowering the taste, and to be quite honest, i dont think I like the taste of ginger in my beer. Pretty spicy, with an herbal sort of flavor. The ginger was quite overpowering. You have to drink this one ice cold, or else it could become unbearable. Wont try again. SeizOne (29), USA
