Nose is definately displaying a ginger profile. The flavor is well constructed with ginger as well as being light and refreshing. This has to be the best ginger scented beer I have had to date including Sam and Duyck J Gingembre, however, it is unique and interesting and probably good to have only one of every once in a while or to use as an ingrediant in something. ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 22, 2007 Not really a big fan. This beer is like a light Macro beer with a slight amount of ginger on the front palate. The nose is deceiving and gives a good dose of ginger, but the flavor lacks substantially. Not as bad as the POatriot collection ginger, but still not very good. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 15, 2007 bottle - Pours yellowish with a thin head and an aroma of mild malt and assertive ginger. There’s lots of ginger taste with an okay beer buried under it. Medium to thin bodied, easy drinking, and rather different, this is an interesting beer if nothing else. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 9, 2007 I’m a big fan of Ginger Beer (the soda), but this falls really flat to what I was hoping for. it gives off a weak head, with only a mild flavor of Ginger. Still quite smooth though johnykat (65), Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 9, 2007 I thought this beer was nice to try as a one time thing and I would recommend it just for that purpose. I only had one and could not have any more. Again, it is a beer that is just nice to give a try. It has a ginger flavor and light hops at the end. Kind of reminds me a little bit of a light beer and green tea mix. Strange, but not offensive at all. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 9, 2007 Updated: Apr 29, 2008The aroma is great with ginger, hops, and malt. The appearance is amber with a small head. The flavor has an adjunct malt taste with light bitter hops, paper, and a minimal ginger taste. The palate is thin. The aroma makes you think you are going to get some ginger but it’s almost non existent.
