Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Not bad, not great. Enjoyable, but not memorable. Not much of a ginger flavor.

Moderate aroma and taste of ginger. Refreshing and clean. Very good paired with sushi.

12oz bottle labeled bottled on 08 16 06. Very light gusher when I opened it. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of ginger and all around sweet. Tastes of ginger that were stronger than the aromas. I wasn’t really getting much else out of this one, maybe some graininess. Thin body.

pours a coppergold with small head.aroma of pale malt ginger than some hops.taste is crisp some what refreshing but ginger is no subsite for hops.overall kinda weird don’t care too much for it

Drain pour. Disappointing beer from the usually reliable Left Hand. Hint of sweet ginger aroma. Very light color. Little ginger taste. But lack of hops makes this ginger water.

On tap at brewpub. I’m a fan of ginger beers, and this is a good attempt. Clear golden with a strong ginger aroma. A little creamy.

bottle. Clear amber with ginger aroma.Flavor was fresh ginger, and it does seem hard to taste the hops. You almost feel them. A nice to try, but not buy again beer.

on tap-pours a creamy white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is ginger, sweet grain. Taste is ginger, sweet grain, light, nice. OK carbonation. Occasional.
