Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

A hazy but also clear enough to see light on the other side. Head turns to a film quickly. Thick at the edges and more opaque. Heavily fruity smell, with a ginger spice that is sweet, not tart. Some earthy malts, some *soil* notes, but good. Heavily earthy malt, almost muddy. That citrusy, fruity and sweet spice are there. It’s an interesting balance, but not THE tastiest beer I’ve ever had. It’s a nice feel; watery but a tad fizzy. It’s a very earthy drink. Interesting but not the greatest thing ever. Nice enough though.

Bottle: poured clear amber color, with a medium head. Flavor was lightly malty with a small bit of bitterness, but ginger wasn’t there. Mouthfeel was watery. Not much flavor... but yet not undrinkable!

Golden with a small white head. Aroma of ginger, with herbal and grassy hops. Dry ginger-dominated flavour

Interesting amber color. Over all a very interesting beer. Flat beer with a very awkward mouth feel. The ginger is present, but it tastes like a beer that needs to go back to the drawing board.

Pours a clean, slightly glowing gold-orange with an airy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of ginger ale and a hint of apple juice. Tastes somewhat like flat ginger ale with malt. The finish is a bit disappointing. Based on the initial flavor, I was expecting a spicy ginger finish. Instead it’s almost flavorless as it goes down.

A very clean and refreshing beer. Not a lot of flavor. Good cross over beer for bush light drinkers.

BOTTLE: clear gold/orange pour, ginger and malt on the nose, kind of smells like wine. Some ginger on taste, but not much else going on.
