| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Mar 1, 2006 Can’t really smell any ginger. Honestly doesn’t tastes that great - a funkiness that I can’t attribute. Thickish, but with a realy odd flavor. Doesn’t get any better as it goes along. iowaherkeye (1872), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2006 12oz. bottled on 03-16-05. Pours a cloudy light orange-yellow with some floaties in it. Moderate creamy head. Aroma of ginger, pepper, and some slight sweet malts. Taste follows the aroma, with a clean finish. Kinda thin and watery on the palate. Not a bad beer--couldn’t really drink more than one in a sitting, and wouldn’t necessarily seek this one out. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 14, 2006 Draft at O’Brien’s. Deep Yellow with a decent head. Aromas were ginger ale but not quite as sweet. Ginger on the tounge too, with a decent hop bite. Not bad. Worth a shot, but not something to have often. hatchy (32), USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 22, 2006 Sampled from bottle. Pours cloudy orange-amber with a thin, creamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is pleasant: tart, freshly grated ginger and sweet malt. Flavor also had ginger, but it is not dominant, but rather balanced with some bready malts and some spicy hops. Medium-light body and lightly carbonated. A refreshing, unique beer. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 20, 2006 Cool beer. Certainly a pale ale in body and color. Nice white head that hangs around. The aroma is just intoxicating, ginger, fresh bread, and some cumin perhaps? Any way you cut it excellent beer and does wonderfully with asian and indian cusine, something very few beers can accomplish. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Hazy copper with a small head & peppered with yeast. Aroma of ginger is in tune with the season, seeming sprucey with clove. This is brewed with ginger, but I can see an aroma like this being produced naturally with the right combination of yeasts & hops. Flavor is honey-infused ginger ale, candy & flowers. A very lively mouthfeel makes the flavors "pop", although a more sedate approach would have sufficed.
