Commercial Description:
Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

Not a huge fan of this beer. I barely get any ginger at all out of this. I really have to look for it to get a hint of ginger. If you randomly gave me this beer without telling me what it is, I wouldn’t be able to tell you that it is a ginger flavored beer.

clear orange gold color, no head, bold ginger aroma, light body, moderate bitters with no hop flavor, flavor is all ginger, it’s like a really basic pale with ginger instead of hops, totally one dimensional, i respect the effort but it needs something more, this would be really good with some honey used as a fermentable

Bottle. A nice clear golden orange color body with a big soapy off-white head, lively carbonation. Aroma of ginger and a touch of corn, maybe a hint of grass.Flavor is crisp and fresh, mostly ginger and kind of a corny lagerish taste, a little dry caramel malt,a hint of toastyness, not much sweetness in the flavor but a slight bit in the finish, light body, with a very pale hop profile and a bit of ginger in the finish. An odd brew but good, not really sure how I feel about this yet. From the Mountain Mixer sample 12 pack

Straight up a nice concept. I expected just a novelty beverage. This is both novelty and well brewed. Ginger bread dancing up my nose...with dry hops. You get husky, burning Ginger and mellow malt sweet tangz. Its pretty cool.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours an amber color. Aroma is malty, gingery, light hops and some citrusy notes. Flavor is a bit bitter with lots of malt and ginger flavor. At least this one doesn’t burn like a lot of ginger beers. Meh.

12oz, random probably poor brew for 2600, no biggy on to the next milestone. Pours orange with a bright white head. Nose is dead, with a touch of ginger. Taste is so ever so slightly ginger, and I like ginger, this needs to kick it up about 12 notches.

(bottle from Weber St Liquor in Colorado Springs). Pours a clear orange color. Small off white head. Light ginger aroma. Light malt and ginger taste. Avg duration. Smooth finish, but slightly astringent. Watery texture. Minimal lacing. Moderate carbonation. ----Expected a stronger ginger flavor.
