Apr 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange hued amber with a thin bubbly off-white head that clings to the edge of the glass. Sweet, fruity aroma with candied ginger notes. Floral hops. Interesting flavor, the ginger is present but fairly mild while the body is mildly sweet malts. Really light bodied with just a slight lingering bitterness. A bit watery

Apr 25, 2009 12oz bottle. This one has been sitting in the fridge for awhile now, not sure what possessed me to think this would be good. To my surprise it actually wasn’t that bad but you do have to be in the right mood. The ginger taste comes through front and center so if you like that sort of thing this one is for you.

Apr 22, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Gold color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts and a lot of ginger. Flavor is watered down ginger mixed with some dry malts and a very light hop touch. Finish is bitter and lightly hoppy.

Apr 13, 2009 Pours an off-white head with a little lace. Body is golden. Aroma is of malt and ginger. Flavor is the same. I get a metallic finish.

Apr 9, 2009 Bottle. Golden yellow with a slight haze and a small head. Not so much of a pale ale as a pale lager base with the ginger spicing it up a bit. Light bodied and drinkable.

Mar 29, 2009 Sampled from bottle. I didn’t get much more than a couple of “thoughtful” swigs of this beer, but I will use my discretion in saying that I’ve had enough to rate it. Aroma is light grass and spicy ginger. Palate is a bit watery, which seems to be the usual with “ginger” infused beers. Flavor features prominent ginger-herbal character, along with pale malt and white sugar. I wasn’t impressed.

Mar 27, 2009 On tap at Hop Devil Grill in Manhattan. Ginger aroma with light amounts of malt. Clear orange color with a medium white head. Mild ginger bitterness in the beginning with a sweet finish.
