Taste like a lager with a splash of ginger ale. I guess about what I’d expect. Might be a good starter craft beer. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA

Pours a near clear dark yellow with not much whitish head. This is the epitome of a ginger beer. Ginger is all I can really pick up on. I’m totally not a fan of ginger beers, but I can appreciate what they are going for here and they seem to have done a decent job. HogTownHarry (4020), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Hazy light amber pour, large fizzy-foamy white head. Not much aroma at all - slight citrus sweetness, a sharp tang that might be ginger, could also be lemon&coriander. Taste - yep, ginger, fairly fresh-seeming ginger at that - maybe an underlying generic pale lager - meh. Light body, only moderate carbonation, the life comes from the spicy ginger, which is all you’re left with after about a second - any other "character" is gone instantly. This isn’t beer, it’s girly alco-pop. afireinside96 (839), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA

Smells faintly of ginger and citrus. Taste was fairly bland, just a hint of ginger. Not offensive but not worth seeking out either. Trev (882), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Strange flavor...flat metallic beer taste with light Ginger flavor. blankboy (3214), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Pours a hazy orange-copper with a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma of caramel malt, buttery toffee, a bit of ginger and maybe a hint of diacytl -- just O.K. Flavour’s a bit watery but tasty enough, it’s malty with light citrusy hops and a good amount of ginger. Pretty much no bitterness in the finish. Average bodied. A somewhat refreshing, easy to drink beer. VitaminR (438), Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Sweet candied ginger nose. Pale golden with hints of brownish amber, medium long lasting frothy head. Caramel toffee with bits of pickled ginger sweetness, bitterness is there, but difficult to detect because of the ginger. Lighter body, but solid mouth feel, big carbonation, fruity ginger finish. Very different, full of flavor and refreshing. Great beer, but only something you can drink when in the mood.
