Poured a brown/black with creamy tan head. The aroma is decent, with notes of coffee, milk, and perhaps some bitter chocolate. The flavor is pretty good, sweet malts, chocolate, a bit of coffee, and lactose come through. The mouthfeel is good, sticky, creamy, milky. Overall, it’s pretty good, but I tired of it more quickly than I’d prefer. jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA

Coffee and cream dominate the nose and mouth, and very thick feeling in the mouth. Up there with Moloko plus. dogfish120love (291), west hartford, Connecticut, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Very deep brown, just barely translucent beer with a very thin head that dissipated within several seconds. The first thing I noticed was the aroma. A deeply roasted aroma that smelled strongly of coffee and perhaps dark chocolate. The beer filled my mouth in the best possible way, and wasn’t unpleasantly bitter. dwaggs2 (567), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Black pour with brownish head. Aroma of coffee and hint of chocolate. Surprised by the flavor which was dominated by chocolate, and strong, not typical of a milk stout. Smooth finish, perfect beer with dessert.
