| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Flaske. En fuldkommen straight of the mill sweet stout. Udmærket bitterhed på en mørkebrun øl. Brændt og en smule sød men ikke for meget. Ok. Grizzle (46), Lawrence, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 18, 2008 Bottle to glass at home. Pours a dark opaque, with not much head. The head that did develop is a toasted marshmallow tan. Very little lacing. The aroma is malty, caramelly, sweetened malted milk like, with cereal and grain notes. The taste is very much the same. Roasted malts, with cereal flavor on the back end. Can definitely taste the caramel and again the sweetened milk. Palate is not as think as other stouts, neither good nor bad. I will certainly drink this beer again. At least 5 more times. 502Flavors (621), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 17, 2008 Dominant coffee roasted malt. Chocolate taste also. Distant & light hoppy character. Quite carbonated. Dark brown body, thin head. JohnnyJ (1312), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Pours a dark brown, with light tan head. Swet malt, chocolate, nuts, and hints of roasted coffee. Quite creamy and sweet, it almost tastes artificial. Makes an excellent beer float though. fidelis83 (720), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Pours dark but transducent brown with a thin, creamy beige head. Aroma is plenty of toast, sweet chocolate, candied nuts, lightly toasted marshmallows, herbal hops, and a some roast. Flavor has plenty of roast and chocolate, candied nuts, a hint of mellow coffee, lactose is evident, and maybe a little over the top if you concentrate on it. Finish is not too impressive, basically the flavor fades and there is a little more char, not a whole lot of added complexity. Body is a bit thin and sticky for the style as well as being a tad high on the carbonation. Acknud (778), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Dark brown pour. Amber head. A little thin to the mouth. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is the same with a little anise and a subtle finishing hop thrown in.
