Aroma is like a pastry shop with sweet caramel and bread notes, with some roasted coffee that the pasty shop also sells. Body is extremely tasty, like a sweetened latte. Palate is also very good, well lifted from carbonation but also palate coating richness. I love this style. presario (3001), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Bottle from D&J Liquor in St. Louis, MO. Bottled on date illegible. Black color with a good frothy tan head. Nice aroma of toasted malt and chocolate. Medium plus body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is definitely sweet, and for some reason suggests milky or milky chocolate. The toasted/burnt malt adds enough bitter to make this very drinkable. Really good. UriahHeep (105), Georgia, USA

Not much bitterness but delicious anyhow. mcjay (303), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA
