| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Bottle. Sweet milk chocolate nose. Very dark, low head. Chocolate, .ight cofee, restrained milk acid, roast, a bit salt, enough hops in the finish - quite delicious mix. Medium, creamy body. Mhh, my kind of beer. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 29, 2008 Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and strong chocolate and coffee and extremely sweet. Flavor starts out very sweet and rich like chocolate milk, but gets a little more bitter in the finish, which creates a nice contrast, like moving from milk chocolate to bitter chocolate. Medium-full body, and a nice creamy mouth feel. Definitely Left Hand’s best beer, and a really enjoyable stout. Bonus: It went really well with a glass of whiskey :) Piggy (27), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2008 A good beer, though not the finest milk stout I’ve tasted. You can’t go wrong with this, but there is better, perhaps for the same price. The taste was strong and slightly hoppy without being bitter.
