Clear dark red brown color with a large, creamy, excellent lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, milk chocolate, mocca, notes of vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. (060208) MartiniFiend (104), Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 26, 2008 Pours a dark dark brown, nearly black with no light passing through. A beautiful dark tan head that calms to a lasting tan film throughout the drink. The nose is roasted coffees, mocha, all those great dark, moody milk stout smells. The mouthfeel is smooth with light carbonation while the flavor matches the nose, heavy roasted flavors, mocha, coffee, toffee, and some chocolate and caramel. Not overly complex but one of my very favorite milk stouts. NoiZe (1372), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown with reddish highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head. The aroma is chocolate, dark fruits, roasted, with an overall sweetness. The flavor is again chocolate, a hint of coffee, roasted malt, and dark fruits. I kept hoping there would be more to chew on with this one. Overall a decent sweet stout. I was eyeballing my neighbor’s pint, which turned out to be this brew, and I’m glad I dialed up a couple of these. A very nice thick pour, with an impressive lasting head. Nice sweet malt aroma and a huge mouthfeel, with more roasted qualities than I expected. Nice stuff.
