| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Pours dark brown. Almost no light shines through. Foamy sparkling tan head that disappates to a nice skim of bubbles. Smell is of sweet milk chocolate with roasted malt notes. Taste isn’t quite as sweet as the aroma would lead you to believe.Mostly a fairly non descript roasted malts flavor with a hint of the milk chocolate that you can smell. Very good and enjoyable. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2008 Roasty milk chocolate on aroma. Roasty, slightly sweet flavour in a... bit sickly way, with a bit of hops to finish it with. Odd but good. AmEricanbrew (1828), bankrupt socialistwelfare state, Washington DC, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 4, 2008 12 oz bottle...deep mud color almost black w/ a tan head. Nose reminded me of mildly roasted coffee beans, and some slight chocolate sweetness. Taste was similar only I’d say more of a dark chocolate bittness on the palate. Very creamy tasting w/o feeling thick or heavy. This is a very good stout!
