mild roasted scent, poured very dark with great sized tan head, surprisingly mellow compared to other stouts and not at all dessert sweet like other milk stouts. the small amount of sweetness that it does have completely removes any roasted aftertastes/bitterness that come with some stouts.

Oct 5, 2008 Bottle. Black beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly roasted and bitter, the flavour is very bitter, roasted and milky. Overall very nice milky stout.

Oct 4, 2008 355 ml bottle. Deep brown color, tan head.Roasted malt, coffee aroma. Coffee flavor with a touch of bitter chocolate in the finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Not bad at all.

Oct 3, 2008 Pours a great dark brown with unsustainable dark tan head. Nose of molassis, a hint of alcohol, dark roast. Flavor reminds me of kahlua a little bit. Coffee, lactose, anise. Very impressed. I don’t usually care for this style, but this was not bad

Oct 3, 2008 Black color with creamy yet disappearing beige head which leaves some light lacing on the inside of the glass. Rich aroma with cocoaliquor and a light touch of roasted malt. Creamy, milky flavor with chocolate and hints of coffe. Wellbalanced and smooth bitterness in the finish.
