Commercial Description:
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

Pours a nearly-clear bronze with a thin off-white head. On the nose are sweet, doughy Munich malt, sugar and light floral hops. Light to medium-bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a mildly astringent and metallic finish. The flavor follows the nose with bready Munich malt backed by fruity, almost herbal, hops. This is a fairly solid O-Fest, although it’s a tad rough at the finish. Overall, it’s not too shabby for the style.

Bottled (LOT 16/07/08). Thanks oh6gdx. Deep clear amber color, small off-white head. Typical a bit caramelly, rye bready Märzen aroma. Quite caramelly malty, some bready and toasted notes. Suprisingly quite Vienna-like (and dunkler bock) flavor instead of Märzen. Sweetness covers alcohol, feels much less than 6 %. Less hops than in many American oktoberfestbiers.

this just isnt a good beer. Amber pour. Metallic and malty aroma. Flavor is full of a weird tart metallic component that totally made me drain pour it. Nasty.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a white head. Lots of vienna lager notes, sweet and simple with a light metallic and hop bitterness to finish.

The aroma is papery and metallic, with cereal and herbal hops. The appearance is amber with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma and strange. The palate is typical for the style. Overall this proves vet again why I am not in love with Oktoberfest beers.

12 oz bottle pours amber with a nice off whit head. Lots of sweet malt in the nose. Flavor is rich and malty, with just enough hop to balance it. One of my NA Okto favorites

12oz bottle. Rich and malty nose with lots of evident munich and vienna malt along with some pleasant herbal notes. Full bodied with a slightly sweet finish that dries steadily when the hops kick in. Malty, nutty, herbal taste. Average for the style, but a solid beer.
