Commercial Description:
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear warm deep amber golden with a yellowish head. Fat and sweetish caramel with some floral acents. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel, accents of burned caramel and roasted malt. Almost no bitterness. Pleasant. 180908

Pours a dark amber color with a nice foamy head. Nice aroma of malt, toffee and hops. The taste is good with a good malty sweetness, toffee, some nice aromatic flowery hops together with a decent bitterness. Mouthfeel is slightly better than average; feels quite filling, smooth and overall nice. Drinkability is good also. It goes down very easy. You can easily have a few of these.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A deep red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel sauce. The flavor is sweet matly with strong notes of caramel as well as notes of straw and grass, and hints of alcohol, leading to a dry strawy finish. A clone between and American and a German beer.

Pours a beautiful deep copper with thin off white head. Malty bready aroma. Taste is nice smooth malt with a bit more hop presence than your typical marzen. Leaves a nice malty bitter hop aftertaste. A nice slightly hopped up version of a classic style.

Bottle: Amber/copper pour with a strong light tan head. The aroma has some seedy/husky malts, cereal grains and a sweet notes of caramel. Fairly creamy texture with lots of dark caramelized character as well as husky malt flavors. Still pretty clean with a balancing, residual toasted malt note into the finish. Not bad.
