| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Updated: Sep 25, 200812 oz bottle. Pours red orange amber with a large creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is toasted malts and maybe a touch of alcohol.
The flavor is sweet toasted caramel malts and some weird off flavors that increase as it warms (nitrogen?). The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it’s just pretty bland and uninspiring and the off-flavors make it rather unpleasant. WesKBob (321), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA
